Module Overview

|
|
|
The Dynamic Network Simulator is one module of the WiNeS Platform.
It can be used to set targets for the investment and traffic planning,
to derive rules for a proper RRM parameter setup in order to achieve a
well-configured network, and for efficient QoS driven network
performance validation.

Values and
Benefits
 |
|
Using the
Dynamic Network Simulator, the user is enabled to
 | dramatically cut down network maintenance costs
and increase revenues, |
 | secure decisions concerning service level
agreements,
minimize the Grade of Service to increase subscriber satisfaction
and reduce the churn rate, |
 | maximize the packet data throughput by applying a
trade-off between different UMTS transmission options, |
 | support optimization tasks, e.g. by imitating
trouble regions with different traffic, service, and mobility
scenarios, |
 | configure the RRM for hierarchical cell layers
and multiple frequencies, and |
 | break down the 3G network complexity to enable
multi-service provisioning at high QoS. |
